Lady Gaga released "Dance in the dark" in 2009. Twenty-two years earlier, Depeche Mode released "Strangelove".

    I'm just glad to see Depeche Mode mentioned on ATRL :clap3:

     

    The DITD synth melody does kind of sound like Strangelove, I hear what you mean

    This one sounds more like Depeche Mode style with Dark Pop, anyways i'm glad to see people talking about them they are an amazing band.

    I always thought DITD sounded inspired by Strangelove, especially the intro. I remember Gaga praising Depeche Mode in her early career. I would kill for a collab :jonny: even Gwen Stefani got to work with Martin Gore on Wonderful Life (one of her top 5 songs).
