    Silver Springs is probably one of my top 30 favorite songs of all time, period. the structure of it is so abnormal but perfect. it's like:

     

    verse 1

    pre-chorus

    verse 2

    pre-chorus

    partial chorus

    instrumental break

    full chorus revealed as the climax of the whole song :jonny5:

     

    idk another song that uses that structure but it's SOOOO effective and powerful here ugh. it's just steamrolls me every single time. i can't believe they wouldn't even allow it on the album, to me it kinda blows Rumours out of the water. and Rumours is an album full of stone cold classics.

    Not familiar enough with their catalogue to give a definitive answer but I've always really loved Silver Springs.

    Mine is also Storms probably. Was my most played song in 2018, I even tried to learn it on guitar. And then Everywhere was my top song in 2019.

     

    But now it's rotates between Gypsy, Never Going Back Again, Future Games, Silver Springs, Isn't It Midnight, or Say You Love Me depending on my mood/season.
