This is honestly the funniest reach I've seen. Like… she's the literal opposite. If anything, men in the industry have spent years trying to downplay her success because it threatens their ego.

Maybe she had a similiar experience to me, where I found a bloodied tampon in the sink of a park bathroom. It was a gender-neutral bathroom. Also, I was a temporary employee (janitor) and the girl's bathroom was way dirtier than the boy's bathroom to my surprise. Literally two pads were found in the trash, something suspicious was on the floor of one of the stalls, someone was smoking a blunt in the third stall (you could smell it) and one of toilets was not flushed (it was number 2).

It's easy to say "people are mad over this? this is nothing" - but this is a regular pattern of behavior with Charli. Look at the time she started **** with Camila Cabello for going hyperpop, or when she disowned Rina Sawayama for speaking out against Matty Healy, or the "Sympathy is a Knife" drama, or ripping off a Marina campaign & refusing to let go of the resulting argument years later.

 

Many of her biggest fans, including people she has publicly endorsed during the BRAT era, have wished death upon Taylor & made jokes about Swifties dying at The Eras Tour.

 

I think this backlash is warranted
