She's not as good as The Love Invention but the production is better and I love to see her working like that. Reverberotic SOTY.

Ultrasky alone is too perfect to not make it AOTY. Play (Shine Like Nova Star) make Tension 1 and 2 look like amateur hour. The album is pure synth heaven. 

Will she ever top Reverberotic

 

 

 

Hm sisters help me out because TLI was kinda mid for Miss Godfrapp. We all know she could've done better. 

So is this the magnum opus we were promised all along or will I just keep streaming Tales of Allah to repent

I personally prefer TLI but it's a grower

To the dismay of some people.... I don't think her solo work is better than Goldfrapp as a duo, but she's been doing what she knows and she does it well

well let me stream it then. i was going to eventually. my only problem with love invention is that it felt a little too on the nose considering their work as a duo. but the singles for flux are more left field and towards my tasting

TLI and TLR have higher highs, but Flux is way more consistent in quality. It is very polished and that might turn off the girls that want more off-kilter production. So far, I love every song.

This one is THE ONE, you get it

The Love Invention remains untoppled (a masterpiece) but Flux is stellar and gets better with every listen

And the fact that it was only 2 years after TLI.

A mother, a queen, an angel, a goddess. 

So there's this modern classic.

The way she has given us excellence from debut to now. Can't wait for album 3.
