They are the same song obvi, but it's y'all pretending that if the 2nd version didn't exist, the first one would have all of the streams that the 2 versions combined now have, when that's obviously not true for very obvious reasons. Moreover, Love story is NOT anywhere near the level of these songs in the OP, so let's stay on topic.

How do you measure how big songs were before streaming though? Cause labeling something as "the biggest song of all time" is quite serious.

The release date doesn't matter. Some of the biggest songs of all time are outstreaming Gen Z acts right now. Look at Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Elton. Timeless music will be embraced by every generation.
