That JLO stan @Tortuguero is still trying to come for Shakira's tour, even when JLO's own U.S. tour was completely canceled due to flop sales.  That's 30 shows canceled from low interest.  JLo is already struggling to sell tickets to her Vegas theater residency, even though she announced them 6+ months in advance. 12 Vegas shows with 4,100 capacity each = 49,200 seats...  Shakira sold that with 1 single stadium date--multiple times already.  Shakira has already sold 2.5 million tickets with this tour. 

 

There's nothing wrong with Shakira selling nosebleed tickets for cheap to fill spots on a 2nd bonus SoFi date that was only announced for 1 month. The tour is still massively profitable, hence it being estimated to become the biggest tour of 2025.

Mexico alone is the 2nd biggest Spotify market in the world, Argentina, Brazil and Chile (if I'm not remembering wrong) are within the top 10.

Latin America takes up 22% of Spotify users, comparing with Europe's 27% and North America's 24%. Central Asia is not even 1% probably.

Central Asia is not a big touring market otherwise Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga would go there. You can't disagree facts.

Basically, Mexico alone is bigger than Poland, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Romania combined. Central Asia is not gonna give JLo no.1 tour of the year but Latin America does to Shakira.

 

It would be great if you stop setting JLo (a Vegas theatre act) up. Shakira is a stadium & touring force. JLo isn't.
They are not even on the same level and will never be. Shakira is way superior.

Girl what are you trying to pull here. Shakiras tour so far in 40 dates has probably outsold JLos touring receipts since she started her recording career in 1999.

My peak stanning for her was from around 2004 to 2011. It will be crazy if I can see her live after 20+ years of living for the music.
