I dont think anyone said shakira is over or questioned her MPG status. She got her best chars/streaming numbers of her career with El Dorado and LMYNL. Only her touring power was questioned because she was never a touring force or known by it.  Now she is doing her first stadium tour where she could have done already during El Dorado

First of all, all of the shows were sold out, from US to Mexico to Chile. Second, those are her guests. Without them, she would still have those shows sold out, like those in Arlington, Orlando, San Francisco etc. Thirdly, her Mexican leg is the biggest ever in the country with more than 1 million tickets sold.

 

go somewhere else, maybe Tashkent to see Jlo.

After 30 years, this is the closest JLo has come to touching a Grammy since portraying Selena.

Obviously Shakira and JLo are artistically at two different levels, but I'm bothered by how the internet has essentially made Lopez public enemy #1. Seems like she can't do anything right in anyone's eyes.... She's an excellent performer and people should take it for what it is instead of pinning these two down (and sometimes shakira vs. beyonce). Its just so silly.
