you're right but it was also because a lot of the mainstream tourning artists sold tickets with that disgusting dynamic pricing tactic. 

 

It really ****** everything up and whilst your Beyonces and Gagas can scream that they got 'the biggest box office tour' of the year or whatever the ****, everyone else was being ****** over - from their fans, to other smaller artists. 

 

I hope it all comes crashing down soon, its ******* vile. in 2019, you could be right at the front at a major pop stadium concert and pay as little as £75... now you would be lucky to do that for less than 5x the price... It's revolting

Ahhhhh maybe Beyonce didn't continue with more shows so Shakira could have that title cuz Beyonce clearly couldn't did one or two more shows and been number 1. But she did what she came to do and that was to have the biggest country tour male or female. Beyonce already has the biggest tour from a r&b artist of all time.

Something popped off within the last couple years and I don't think inflation is the only reason. 

It's the rise in demand for live events post-COVID. Artists who took advantage of this demand are grossing the biggest tour numbers of their career, but things are beginning to cool down already as we can see.
