i want to hear her version of Titanium tho

Unconditionally is pretty much the same.

Katy struggle to sing "Fireworks" in several occasions without using pre-recorded voices in the chorus and you think she can sing CHANDELIER???? Damn :rip:

Firework is higher than Chandelier though.  IT should be noted that Sia herself lipped all the choruses of Chandelier, except the acoustic ones, which were much lower than the record.

I believe Katy should have led the era with Wonder. IT came on shuffle this evening and wow it is such a great track.

Those acoustic guitars, the driving bass, the pulsating rhythm and that euphoric climax, coupled with Katy's soaring vocals.

Sounds like an easy top five to me. She really picked the wrong song.

Everyone obviously wants to see Katy Perry, the best female performer of all time!!!

This would easily have been one of the biggest hits in history.

Katy has the voice to carry those sustained notes ( they are easier than what she does effortlessly in Firework), plus she transitions easily into head voice and has that little flip that she adds into a lot of her songs.

Would love to hear her take on it.

This is why nobody takes kats seriously in 2025.

Chandelier is more something that would fit Beyoncé or Rihanna if not for Sia herself. Def not Katy tho. The song doesn't fit her at all.

Beyonce, yes, but Rihanna...? Even Katy is a more capable vocalist than Rihanna

Girl be for real, Sia has a great strong voice and she has battled sometimes to perform it live. Katy can barely sing on key.

LOL you're so misinformed. Sia has used a track every single time for the chorus when she was doing the original song, except for that GMA performance where her track failed. She has only sung it live in the acoustic versions, which are in a completely different key to the record.

Tbh I don't see this song fitting Katy's voice, but the dated lies about her vocality in this (and other threads) are embarrassing. Keep lying but know that isn't really the flex you believe it is.:coffee2:

Well it could've been the more serious, 'purposeful' big hit that Witness needed

She definitely does. Those sustained notes are in the sweet spot of her vocal range. The climax on Rise is higher.

It's not though....Sia hits F#5s in the choruses of Chandelier, the highest Katy goes in Rise is Eb5.

I meant when Katy sings Rise live, she goes higher than Sia live. Sia has never done the chorus live in the original key and to be honest i believe it is pitched in studio.

Well first we're gonna have to lower that key and change that arrangement
