This would easily have been one of the biggest hits in history. 

Katy has the voice to carry those sustained notes ( they are easier than what she does effortlessly in Firework), plus she transitions easily into head voice and has that little flip that she adds into a lot of her songs. 

 

Would love to hear her take on it.

She definitely does. Those sustained notes are in the sweet spot of her vocal range. The climax on Rise is higher. 

Chandelier is more something that would fit Beyoncé or Rihanna if not for Sia herself. Def not Katy tho. The song doesn't fit her at all.

I don't think my ear drums would be able to handle that.

Rihanna ? She wasnt able to do the falsetto notes in Monster, would she get Beba to do them in Chandelier also ?
