Ok but actually I would say it's because of her hard work and evolution. She's always been talented with a nice voice but she really did continue to cultivate her talent and music over the years and she never stopped. Most artists don't do that and honestly, they don't really have to and neither does she for that matter. I think she does it because she genuinely likes music and likes to perform. She has that old school star quality that we don't always see in 2025.

Right. This site claims that no one is listening to her 2020s offerings hence the "low streams" yet Renaissance is double platinum with 15 out of 16 tracks certified gold or higher and Cowboy Carter is platinum.

Tbh it is interesting how her name is always dragged into some mess and this woman don't even say a thing. Like for example, the Sydney Sweeney Jean controversy, people were comparing it to Beyoncé's LEVI commercial which made no sense on why she was warped into that mess.

 

Beyonce has been a hot topic since she debuted and honestly she will continue to do so. This is just my guess but I think it's also due to the fact that she's private like extremely private. You don't hear from her unless she wants you to and even then she'll put that into her music. Imo, not many artists do what she does. Due to her being quiet and her being out of public eye, it makes people curious about her. You can also add that she constantly continues to reinvent herself and delivers phenomenal performances that makes people want to talk about her. But I really think the major part is really her privacy and how she's not in the public eye as much as she used to be.

It's not a valid critique when someone like Rihanna makes accessible pop songs formalized for the radio, clubs, etc. beyonce has transitioned into making music that sparks conversation, which is proving to be true considering her name gets dragged into literally everything and has arguably stained her image by alienating audiences. 

She is a Legend but tbh in Mexico the CC era was almost non existent as a whole, she's not local but I know plenty of people that are not into her and only know like 2 or 3 songs of hers. The cinema was practically empty when I went to see the Renaissance film, compared to how it was with the Eras Tour Film.

 

I'm not saying she's isn't on the level of the greatest because her impact is there, everyone knows who she is and how powerful and iconic she is, but I think it's time we stop trying to put her above people like Gaga, Taylor or even Shakira who have a bigger audience in different countries, even if they don't have the same impact in other territories where she dominates. They just have different audiences.

 

Now, when it comes to performance skills, no one can touch her and she's delivered THE most iconic performances, songs, videos and albums of the 21st Century so she is still the Queen, but let's just stop underestimating other artists and keep trying to put her on top, we don't need to do that.

... because those that love her music are hooked on the unique, singular talent she is, and those that hate her must have offered mansions for rent in their minds because she has taken up residence on a rent-to-own plan.   It's been a LONG 28 years for some of you.

 

I can't imagine coming on here to brag about someone else's Spotify streams when a Beyonce concert or a Beyonce encounter is still fodder in any of their late-night interviews.

This doesn't just apply to Beyonce but I think the reason her, Taylor etc. have been able to achieve such longevity is because we don't have an established crop of new gen pop stars who have taken over from them. Ariana (who's peak was over 5 years ago), Billie, Dua and Olivia are the only ones to have filled their shoes (and if Chappell Roan and Sabrina keep it up they'll join the list too) but they don't seem to occupy and dominate the industry the way Beyonce, Katy, Lady Gaga etc. did in their heyday
