The poor streaming numbers compared to other artists seems like a valid critique, no? 
Rihanna hasn't released an album in 10 years and she continues to out stream Beyoncé in every metric. Beyoncé's numbers are good for sure, but they don't really scream "center of pop culture" 

 

Her iconic place in pop music is as valid as Taylor, Gaga and Rihanna's, but can you really say she is the center of pop culture?

Not really, considering those "poor streaming numbers" still make her one of the top 10 most-streamed female artists in history. They also have literally nothing to do with all the points that the OP made. It's just one thing that ATRL tries to cling to, to downplay Beyoncé's monumental success and impact.

So is Rihanna at the center of pop culture more than Beyoncé? What does consumption have to do with anything?  Beyoncé's every move, from releasing a country album to going on the most successful tour of the year generates headlines. Everyone else is compared to her. She's not the only person at the center of pop culture but she is one of them, as one of the most resilient and successful artists of the past 30 years. Even on here, every other artists' achievement is judged relative to Beyoncé, especially by perpetually pressed racists that already rushed to take residence in this thread. I'm not sure how one could argue she's not one of the people at the center of culture, as one of the biggest, most talented superstars of the 20th and 21st centuries with probably the most respected and consistent body of work.

 

Also, poor streaming numbers compared to who? Billie Eilish? Beyoncé is still the most successful artist of her peer group and that's without lifting a finger, precisely because she's at the center of culture and people will always be interested in what she does. Why is she compared to people who debuted 10-20 years after her and are desperate enough to turn up at the opening of an envelope when she doesn't even release videos?

Weird to even mention freaking DIDDY in the OP.  So, so weird. 

Because she is continually evolving and releasing music that is always fresh and pushes her own artistic boundaries. Memorable performances, visuals and amazing vocals makes her the total package in terms of an entertainer. 

 

I'm proud to say I've been listening to her singing for 26 years!

I always said she is the last of the other worldly megastars that they just don't make anymore.  The ones that seem like God's among men.

I might be leaving out a name or two, but my point is she's the last to have gotten to that stratosphere, and no one else has been let in since.
