What is your biggest fear of how the world will end?

Featured Replies

If the world was to ever end one day, what is your biggest fear of how it will end? for me I think I have chances in a zombie apocalypse, but the thought of the world collapsing at my feet like the movie 2012 is terrifying to me. Like at least a zombie apocalypse you have a chance to survive and die on your own terms.

that I will still be here when it happens :coffee2:  Once I am gone I won't worry about it...

My thing about disaster and apocalypse type scenarios is that I'm absolutely repulsed by the idea of my dead body rotting in my house or in the middle of the street or whatever. :mazen:

If it's gonna happen, I need it to be in a way that will either (1) burn me to ash, (2) allow me to be buried, or as a last resort (3) allow me to make my way to a body of water so I can kill myself and feed the fish.

I know I'd never survive in any of those scenarios and depending on the type and severity of the situation, I probably wouldn't want to. Just stay in my house, live however long off whatever resources I have, and then go jump in the nearest river. :michael:

But other than that, my biggest concern would be for the kids in my family. They live half an hour away and it may be impossible for me to make it there if there were like an alien invasion or whatever. I'd probably never see them again, but I'd die trying to. :weeps:

To be in a conflict of on the one side you have to do all the right steps to survive (food, shelter, hiding places, medical supplies, energy, meeting the right people), and at the same time knowing the Situation is not survivable, the fight for survival is just for the sake of it.

The world will definitely end one day (Second Law).

But idc how it happens as I will not be alive.

If the sky cracks open and a huge demon like face peak through and just starts spitting fire upon us all.

I was advised to pretend that it's not the end of the world, so I'm not afraid.

it will NOT end fast. It is going to be a slow and painful death = lack of resources, global warming, economic inequalities the way we have never seen before... It is going to end slowly and painfully

At this rate, 2030 will be way worse, and 2040 will be a nightmare, etc.

I wish I was born during the time when the sun is going to expand and eat the earth :chick3:

I imagine it will probably end like Terminator where AI becomes advanced enough to wipe out humanity.

Nuclear war... our food/water supplies being contaminated with us all starving to death/watching our loved ones dying with chaos and violence all around us.
