But this remains THE pop bible of 2011 and unarguably the best album released that year, as much as I love some of the other girls's output that year (re: BTW, 21, 4, Fat Female, Ceremonials, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming etc.) Miss Old Navy Girl really went from the fluffy dreamy pastel space-pop, sparkly synths, and whimsical little intergalactic moments that felt like being a kid playing in your room with glitter everywhere that was present on her first album to "burn it all down" by doing a complete 180, ditching the airy synthpop and new wave for something darker, grittier and way more fearless. Her sweet girlish vocals over rough, unpolished, and almost chaotic and abrasive production  felt like pure "let's just mess around and see what happens" energy and it worked. Honestly it deserved the same hype and year-end list love as the heavy hitters that year because it's the perfect storm of synthpop electronica and dubstep. Like let's look at the material:

Like the ***** really locked herself in some dusty shack in the middle of Winter and came out swinging with one of THEE best albums when girl was only 24. The GOAT.

And she will NEVER top it even if A6 came very close :clap3:

No lies spotted

Constantly raising the bar with each album and doing it flawlessly  :clap3:

A similar argument could be made of her 2014 output me thinks. :keir:
