Most of these singles peaked outside the top 30, but the quality of the songs and videos is incredible. :jonny5:

Yes :DWAS:

The thing is that Madonna and warned understood the art of singles to sell the album. The Hits and GP friendly will go first but she still have other releases up their sleave that would catch more people and the videos to go with.

Ya for sure. I actually like like 95% of her singles. Makes sense she has so many GH albums.

Let's not forget this masterpiece that ended her streak of 16 consecutive Top 5 singles.

fun fact: this song, despite of not being released as a single, it was played (and still is very played) on the radios here in Brazil

Some of this songs was massive in Europe and other continents tho :gaycat:

This song is so great.  I love her voice on it.  The rasp in the chorus.  Perfecto.

And yes, Sorry was massive globally.

I remember Hung Up was #1 on the world chart for ages and the song to finally bump it from the top spot was Sorry.

Isn't this how Madonna guilted David Fincher into quickly jumping in to direct Vogue?  Because he was the one that wanted this song as a single because he wanted so badly to direct the video for it even though Madonna and her record company knew the song would be too heavy for top 40.  But she gave in and then when it came time for a favor she guilted him by saying your advice ended my top 5 streak.  I recall hearing this.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

The song and video are masterpieces though, so it was worth it.
