No, doubt it. I also prefer when stars just put it all out at once, and I hope Gaga goes that route for LG8. 

there is no way she is not dropping something in time for the vmas or even premiere it there. 

Nah, she wants to secure big debut sales and not releasing anything before the shippings is her best strategy 

She's taken a "let the music speak for itself" approach since Reputation and hasn't dropped a pre-release single since Lover (which went so well ) - so I'm guessing no

Isn't Lover one of her most successful albums of all time? ME was just a terrible single release song.

I can see the lead single before the album is released, because I believe that with this album she will have a traditional approach to the album rollout. I think she will do a 180 like Beyonce did with the trilogy: from surprise albums to traditional album releases with lead singles. I have a feeling that she want to change a promotion and marketing with this era and the lead single fits into that narrative for me.

I would love taylor to focus on single's promotion rather than just having massive album sales. She will have great album sales no matter what, but her singles can be way stronger and more popular
