    I don't think it's that obvious because Taylor didn't have a Hot 100 hit during the eligibility period so far   Only "I can do it it with a broken heart" which charted for 6 weeks in the low

    Remember that the eligibility period ends in mid-October so there are only 9 weeks left to complete the 52 weeks of the Billboard year-end charts. That also means that only the first week of Taylor's new album will count for this year. Will that week be enough for her to snatch the top female artist?

     

    Here's a look of the estimated Hot 100 year-end so far (after week 43)

     

     

     

    Taylor will obviously dominate the Billboard 200 albums chart even with just her catalog sales, but will that be enough to beat Gaga, SZA, Sabrina who had massive Hot 100 hits?

    Honestly given her catalog consumption, I think Taylor has a strong shot to lock it up with a full Hot 100 top 12 snatch and a good opening week for the album - but I'm less certain if it's purely based on inverse chart points

    It will be Gaga, I fear.

    She had bad timing with her debut era. Dangerously in love points were split between 2003 and 2004 finishing #2 in both years against Xtina and Alicia

     

    And Sasha Fierce had to face Taylor's Fearless era
