And Nicki Minaj isn't shady? Wasn't she trying to lock Ice Spice in a deal to gain more money off her music than Ice herself? If Nicki was in any position to be a Jay Z, she would be. She's just mad that Jay isn't aligning with her but instead Meg. Nicki is in a terrible spot in her career and could use the backing but no one's biting. So she has to side with the Tory Lanez/Maga of the world to try and help her bring down Bey & Jay because it's her only option. This will not end well for Nicki because she's is operating on completely selfish and vain motives, the call is also coming from inside the house with her violent, criminal husband who is quite literally using her for her wealth (that she doesn't have). Nicki's career is going to look a lot different in 10 years. 

yeah not taking this seriously, especially since Nicki goes spiraling, if there is a smear campaign, it probably is arranged by one of the voices in her head

The problem is Nicki tries to make everything seem black or white, when this situation isn't. 
The argument of why are you "defending Jay for Beyoncé" when I don't think that's what it is, If people have more context to accurately describe the situation. Every Million/Billionaire are shady and has been snakes at some point (even the good ones).

I certainly am no Jay-Z apologist. I see how he has paid the Marcy Projects dust since he got out. I saw that he helped build that giant arena in downtown totally flipping the area from low income housing to commercial developments furthering the struggle of native NYers.

 

however, to the barbs, can your very recent and sudden hatred for Jay-Z hinge on something else. Cause I know lack of giving back and shady business deals, or criminal activities as a young minority in poverty, can't be it.
