I think you're being unrealistically pessimistic. This has already done extensive damage. I feel there's already been a quiet mass exodus from the cult.

People didn't care about the tariffs affecting them, in fact they spinned it into a positive, "no pain no gain". Why would they care if Donald ****** a child on Epstein? Not like that personally affects them .

Have the people saying MAGA won't care about the Epstein/Trump connection paid any attention to the news over the past week ? A lot of people's entry point for MAGA was QAnon theories, which was largely about taking down elite pedophiles.

But that's exactly what he'll do and is already doing.  He now says the Epstein files are a democrat hoax and that the birthday letter he sent to Epstein is fake, etc.  It'll be the same "witch hunt" narrative he's successfully used with his supporters since he went into politics, so it's hard to be optimistic.  

 

I will say though, I feel like Elon Musk and Candace Owens were both heavily associated and supported by the Qanon believers, and the fact that they've both now had a falling out with Trump, coinciding with the Epstein connections, maybe the brainwashed can gain consciousness.
