Justin Bieber waiting on Hailey's Rhode check to pay Scooter Braun

Featured Replies

As expected, per TMZ, he's counting on his wife's deal to go through.

Justin Bieber will not pay his multimillion-dollar debt to Scooter Braun's former company immediately ... he will not have to ante up until money from the sale of his wife's Rhode beauty company hits their bank account, TMZ has learned.

Under the terms of the settlement, Justin agreed to pay Hybe the $26 million and half of the $11 million in back commissions. The total comes to around $31.5 million.

Justin Bieber's team dismisses $20 million debt rumours post 2023 tour cancellation

The FeedLast Updated: 17 April, 2025 00:56 AM -4 GMT

Pop sensation Justin Bieber's team has responded sharply to The Hollywood Reporter's (THR) recent article, which claimed that the Peaches singer is facing significant financial troubles after cancellation of his 2023 Justice World Tour. The report alleged that Bieber owed over $20 million to promoter AEG after stopping the tour due to health issues.

The THR in their report claimed the Baby hitmaker received a $40 million advance, however, has returned only part of the sum. It claimed that the 30-year-old singer is financially 'overstretched', particularly due to owning six homes.

They quoted anonymous sources and an alleged former team member. The sources painted a grim picture of Bieber's current state and said that watching him is like seeing the embodiment of someone who is lost, who is not living their purpose. X

So wait..... does he owe AEG AND Scooter? That is significant debt.

Didn't he just sell his entire catalog too?  :rip:

31m is a massive amount, even for a rich person. and the fact that it's technically his wife's money :hoetenks: an entire mess

Why is everyone running in here and believing TMZ… someone is trying to put him in a c-ship and using TMZ as the catalyst.

I'm just waiting to find out that the person doing it is Hailey and she's been playing the long game :campfire:

"In case you're wondering why Justin couldn't cover the debt with the $200 million sale of his catalog about 18 months ago -- our sources say there's not enough left, after taxes, managers, accountants, lawyers, spending, etc." dead2.gif

it's crazy, why even sell them if you end up with nothing to show for it

I think they're trying to clean his pockets while he is high off narcotics all day now, and probably too strung out to care about everything collapsing :skull: Is it normal that the artist pay out of their own pocket when the tour get cancelled ? It's a crazy amount of money he owns.

Bieber's whole situation is looking so dark right now :rip:

Insane, but I wouldn't believe too much since TMZ is on Scooter's payroll. Now, I really think Justin owes Scooter too much money, given how much payola and PR he had to spend for his career the whole time :coffee2:

I'm not very fond of her but the poor girl doesn't deserve to go through all the chaos that surround him and still be treated like that :biblio:

Often tours are insured which covers some of the cost of cancellation.

But for someone like Bieber, insurance likely didn't cover cancellations for health reasons considering his history.

He took millions in advance from the tour promoter and couldn't pay it back.

"The sale price of Rhode is around $1 billion, but there were a number of investors. Hailey gets a big chunk of the money, but Justin is also an investor. Our sources say his cut is around $50 million"

so he invested in her company, he should get that, but after paying back HYBE he won't have much left and it'll probably all be spent so fast dollar4.gif
