Yes many are dumb and immature but so are certain 79 year old heads of state. I have many year 10 and 11 students who are smarter, more grounded and more sensible than most normie adults and they deserve a vote. It's the right age for this line to be drawn. Y'all acting like the average 16 y/o is dumber than the average 18 y/o or 40 y/o, which is simply not the case. The truth is that people of all ages are susceptible to propaganda, nowadays more than ever, but that's still no reason to abolish democracy. Young people who are interested in politics are given the chance to make their voices heard, and for those who choose not to participate, literally nothing changes.
