I would love for Abracadabra to feel like the biggest female song of the year because it deserves it but can't help but feel everything Gaga has done this era has been riding Die with a Smile's success. Which is a pity because the album is great + the visuals and performances are jaw dropping + both Disease and Abracadabra are more interesting sonically and better songs. I don't think the GP gets Abracadabra or MAYHEM like we do, sadly.

The question was if I was surprised and I voted no because she's a huge star. I  just don't think it had much cultural impact.
