With Atlanta's phenomenal numbers in (~55M from 4 shows), Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour is now officially the highest-grossing country tour of all time. THEY USED TO SAY I SPOKE TOO COUNTRY AND THE REJECTION CAME SAID I WASN'T COUNTRY ENOUGH. SAID I NEED TO SADDLE UP (she did).

I know Cowboy Carter is a country album but I wouldn't consider this tour to be a country one... still her success is amazing and she deserves it

I don't make the rules. The Eras Tour was regarded as a pop tour. CCT as a country tour. 
 

Why would the Eras Tour be regarded as a country tour when the tour is centered around many albums (mostly pop), only a few countrypop.

It is certainly THE tour of the year. Every city she visited it became an event. Here in DC people dressed up with the cowboy outfits it was so epic. Nobody is touching Beyoncé this year.

 

it will be hard for any tour to have as big of an impact the CCT had this year.

Night 3 (ATL) was so damn good, this tour is leaps and bounds ahead of the REN Tour, despite REN being the better album.

the whole point of her era is to challenge what country is so I'm moreso saying middle finger to the industry, kind of like how when Kacey musgraves was black balled by them it was better to just say "I'm fine without you! xoxo!"
