We now move on to the Hot 100 YEC #7 song of 2024: "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter.

 

 

I have a feeling people are getting tired of it 

 

 

This is the one song of hers where I actually kinda get the hype

 

Not a personal fave but I can see why it stuck around for so long.

It is SENDING me how low the participation rate for Jack's song was in comparison to all of the others. It has like 1/2 the responses of any of the other songs, and less than 1/3 the responses for Beautiful Things (which it seems ATRL banded together to overwhelmingly dislike).

this is one of those songs that just have crack in them, i almost resent how much i like it

Update: Jack's song has flipped from overall like to dislike after 2 more votes

i like it. she's released good music since but espresso is the kind of song an artist might spend their whole career trying to outdo

I prefer the OGs Say So and Love On 

 

 

It's a catchy, well-crafted song. Like!

Love this but have a feeling it might get Rain On Me'd for me (as in i overplay the **** out of it for the first 2 years and then wince when it comes on in the future).. i hope not tho

At this point I Dislike it, but I have to remember how much I was obsessed with it in May 2024 and vote fairly.

I still like but the overplay needs to stop.

I entered, and majority has decided to dislike it.

 

OT: Lol, I thought you wanted to test the straights hits only. "Espresso" is a very good song, it's overplayed af and I don't search for it actively, but it's still nice.

I haven't heard it play in a while, and it came on shuffle this morning.

 

fast forward to this afternoon and Ive had it on repeat for most of the day. I swear it's got crack in it.
