First up is the Hot 100 YEC Chart #1 song of 2024: "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims.

 

 

I like it! I just think it's overstayed its welcome on the charts.

Sounds like if you input "make a Rag-n-bone Man type song" in Suno AI, but it's not the worst thing I've ever heard

I liked it. His voice is amazing.

i like the song alot . Teddy serves vocals on this retro almost 60's like soul song. 

For the biggest song of all time it's not really bad 

 

He has better songs from what I've heard though.

I'm neutral on the song itself. Since it's clogging the charts, I lean towards dislike for the poll.

this site usually doesnt like people who can sing on key

I like it. I don't listen to radio and stuff so I didn't know this was huge everywhere. I enjoy Teddy's music. 

i don't think it's terrible but it kinda washes over me, i think it took about 4 months of solid radio play before i could remember anything more than the "I LOSE CON-TROWOWOWOL!" bit.

 

he's probably the most talented of the dreary chart men vocally but i think i prefer benson cos he's more of a pop star? teddy just comes off as a bit dull (i'd restate the comparison to rag n bone man but tbf no one is that bad)

It's perfectly fine and he clearly has talent, but it's just another AC track that becomes a huge hit because it's so inoffensive and playing to the broadest audience possible. 

I love it. He's extremely talented and everything i've heard from him thus far has been good

I liked it initially, but the constant overplay has killed the song for me. I still hear it everywhere and the song first appeared on the charts in September 2023 in my country.

I enjoyed it a bit in the beginning, but I can not stand it at all these days... He has a great voice though.

I'm not in love with it but it's a solid song.

Not offensive to me... i don't really dislike but more the culture that made it smash. It's kinda right down the middle in a boring way and I don't need to hear it again. It reminds me of another song I can never think of. I give two stars or a 4/10. Makes me thankful to be kind of detached from mainstream US culture.
