Rose Gray has taken Carly Rae Jepsen's legacy of euphoric, heart-on-your-sleeve pop and carried it straight into the future. Louder, Please captures the same glittery emotional intensity, the kind that makes you want to cry on the dance floor and kiss a stranger under neon lights. If you know you know. And if you don't… it's time to catch up.

I opened this thread expecting to laugh at the OP but omg you're so right. Party People is SOTY

The way I streamed this album yesterday when going to the beach... whew

It's not EMOTION'd at all tbh, this is a carefree party album, but her vocals do remind me of Carly sometimes

But Free is the Run Away With Me of the decade I fear

It's a good album but it's no emotion

Louder, Please is Louder, Please!

Not some other album of another year

Thanks.

Say it louder, please

Stream Wet & Wild for permanent clean skin

It's a cute girl, but Godmotion?

I agree that Switch sounds like a Carly Rae Jepsen song from Kiss. Let me AI Carly Rae's voice in it

it's better than EMOSHION

but now we said it.

all the gays with taste already know that

I saw her live opening for Sugababes. She has some good songs

Lemme add it to my bucket.mp3 list

She's not bad at all. But I don't see the comparison with Emotion.

wait your mind, it literally is! Just Two, Angel of Satisfaction, and First are some of the best pop songs of this decade I fearsies

Literally AOTY

It was cute for a week or two after release but it hardly has Emotion's staying power

Fun album but it's not Emotion.

I don't see how any of this sounds anything like EMOTION (which is a masterpiece) but it's not bad?

Its more Confessions by Louise to be honest.

awful album but Party People is amazing

I like it but it's no emotion

I don't really see it as similar to Emotion, but it's a great album and I predict that she will become a bigger artist in the future, idk how mainstream but her fanbase will continue to grow if she keeps releasing more music on this level
