Idk, does it have to do with Spotify or is it just a consequence of GP's low interest in hits of this year. "Ophelia" is a 8-week #1 hit, and "Golden" has been pulling big numbers for months.

It's probably a combination of a poor year for hits + Spotify peaking. I do wonder if other platforms numbers such as Apple Music and Amazon have been increasing.
