    • No, and in case of a draft, I'd try by all means to avoid being drafted (incl. hiding/escaping).

Conflicts & wars these days aren't as reliant on sheer manpower as they used to be in the past, and a general draft is increasingly unnecessary, but just for the sake of this thought experiment, imagine your country becomes involved in a huge all-out war: Would you volunteer to serve? And if there was a general draft, would you follow your orders and serve? Or would you try by all means to avoid being drafted?

What a weird thread to make. You realise there are people our age that are sent as cannon fodder to war with no choice?

I'd only serve to sell out military secrets to this country's adversaries and be a full traitor.

Thankfully, I don't think it will come to that. I'm glad my country tried to stay away from meddling into wars that don't concern us.:rip:

I would serve the American men soldiers, preferably the 5"7 and above, 3-8 inches

If it was some pointless war to exploit a third world country, I'd try whatever I could to get out of going.

But if we got invaded or someone launched full-scale war on us, I would be there. Can't believe y'all wouldn't!

depends on the war, i would never volunteer but if it were to defend and protect my community i would consider it if i were drafted. i would rather go to prison than serve in some bs war like Iraq for example

i'm diagnosed autistic though so not sure if they'd even have me lol i'm pretty fit physically though and i started rifle shooting recently so i'd be a good soldier if i had to be except for my problem with authority

I'd serve.. Houdini

Nope, i'm american, ashamed to say that but facts are facts. This country can rot for all I care. Burn it all to the ground. I ain't lifting a finger to help a country as horrible as this.

Tbh, there is no personal benefit of living in "tHe mOsT pOwErful cOuNtry iN tHe wORLD"

The country could split, be conquered, win or lose and your life most likely will remain the same unless there is a real revolution from the community

That might be a war worth fighting for

Not a war bullying Palestine for example
