I think her team was smart to release this kind of fast and you can't deny that APT numbers did wonders to the sales, and if they waited to release it on January the song would had lost a lot of streams. I think they now have to work on the stability of the project

The song is still strong despite the Christmas period, I don't think it would have hurt her that much to release at the beginning of January, especially with her physical sales. She might have debuted will less sales, but it would have been #1. 
 

Now regarding the stability idk, it seems like Apt will carry the project.
