genio Posted Wednesday at 10:05 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:05 AM Absolutely crazy numbers for Taylor, 17 weeks at #1 is unheard of! Wicked OST predicted to be in the Top 5 in its 3rd week with 80k sales. Mariah entering the Top 15 with MC a few weeks before Christmas, I love to see that. 4
piotrert Posted Wednesday at 10:12 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:12 AM charts seems very strong rn, i guess because of christmas season and strong physical sales. 42k and only 19th 2
Feanor Posted Wednesday at 12:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:15 PM The fumes here. The way this album is racing towards 7M units, just insane. 10
Flames2Embers Posted Wednesday at 12:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:51 PM I wonder if she will eke out an 18th week at the top. She could lose 100k and still be in contention, so I'm curious if Christmas shopping will buoy her physicals, and if so, how long it will stretch seeing as there's 1 more week before Christmas this year, and Christmas is halfway through the 2nd tracking week. 20 weeks at the top would be an insane run for this album, and be an amazing total to have added to her BB weeks at #1 from just one album. 2
slw84 Posted Wednesday at 01:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:03 PM You can't deny Mrs. swift! I just wished her team would release boxscores and update certs frequently because it would be great for the Stan's and for ppl like me who are chart nerds to enjoy this incredible moment in pop history. i think she'll get more weeks this year. There are no major releases this month, right? 3
Arrows Posted Wednesday at 01:58 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:58 PM A career-total of 86 weeks at #1 Only 47 more weeks to break the record... Insane what The Beatles accomplished! 4

"Flops with dignity". "Dozens of variants for her sheep fanbase gobble up". Contradictory arguments about Chromatica that had 3 CDs, 4 cassette and 7 vinyl variants (more vinyl variants than TTPD - yet only a minuscule fraction of sales or recognition whatsoever). Or a "sheep fanbase" scammed into THESE signed copies clearly signed by different people that had no care about "fans", just pushing copies for the sake of it. Or unfinished vinyl that had no cover or decent packaging yet was priced like any other record, just to release it as soon as possible. All on top of bundling the album with cheap merch and with tour tickets for a tour she was unsure that would happen at all (hence 80% of it's pure sales all coming from release week - no one wanting to own a copy of the record outside her very own gimmicks). Let's not talk about "value of work" when your fav's last 3 albums are Harlequin (inspired by the equally panned The Joker 2), Chromatica and Love for Sale (Love for Sale had even more variants than Chromatica for no reason too) The "scam", "mindless sheep", "physical variants" and "no value" talk is a very loud call from inside the house. I'm sure life as bitter atrl'er is so much better And yes, Taylor should've definitely abandoned her album as soon as she saw that 20 journalists gave it 3 out of 5 starts. Who cares that millions loved it, that was embarassing! 5
