Vermillion Posted Tuesday at 04:27 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:27 PM The hive's going to want him to be given the benefit of the doubt once cleared in a civil and criminal trial by the general public that he won't regardless, for reasons going beyond that he's a black man. He's rich, and beyond anything to do with drugs, beat a fan in the face on tape and continued associating with R.Kelly way past his initial charges in the early 2000s. Whether he deserves that grace is besides the point because it's not going to happen and with his money he'll be fine. Whether out of hubris or fear, Bey's given the signal she's staying put despite the ongoing red flags. How she manages her rock era outside of her die-hard Hive through this will speak volumes. The only one I feel complete sympathy for through all of this is Blue. Given his past actions beyond the time of this alleged crime, I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt here and I don't think this is a money grab at all given the new legal developments. Buzbee's associations with Trump pre-birther movement are a red herring. 5

I see this come up a lot, but unless I'm mistaken the video you're referring to is backstage footage with one of his childhood best friends, Chaka Pilgrim. She is still at Roc Nation to this day. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/jay-z-filmed-punching-12-year-old-female-fan/ Quote Now "Backstage" director Chris Fiore is corroborating that the hand-to-face smoosh was "playful." What's more, Fiore admits to us, he left out footage where "they both laughed and hugged" immediately afterward. "The shot in question was taken out of context by me, and was used in the film to create a sense of heightened tension at the end of the tour," Fiore says. Pilgrim, who works for Jay's Rocawear company, confirms they're still pals and that "we were just playing around." I'm not defending Jay Z when it comes to these new charges, but him hitting a fan in the face isn't true.

I'm not a hater, but just saying. Im a huge Bey fan (obviously) but I also would not be surprised - even if I dont quite understand the link - that the lack of promotion was interesting timing. Even Renaissance received more singles treatment (albeit barely lol0

Maybe, but I just saw it as playing around. She was doing the same to him and jokingly taunting him, then he responded in kind, and they laughed and hugged afterward. The director admits to cutting around it to give the sense the tour was taking a toll on everyone, but he left out the context. Like I said, I'm not saying this in defense of the recent charges. I just don't think there's any correlation between the two, personally.

I've almost posted this numerous times (along with copious other exmaples), but they just bury their heads and ignore their hypocrisy. Could you imagine if this was about Travis? The essays. The rants. The "you racists". The "you sick fucks". The "you support this!". Instead we get, "so nice he supports his daughter at a kids movie premiere!" *every single eye shift gif* 6 3

Oh but the hive would be the first ones to jump on any other artists necks if it weren't jayZ or Bey facing this scandal. Sorry but no. If this is true (which most likely it is), JayZ is a vile monster, as well as Bey for knowing (she's his wife, of course she knows) and enabling/not doing anything about it. 4
Popular Post Braz Posted Tuesday at 05:07 PM Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 05:07 PM It's "believe the victims" unless it's the fave's husband then it's too soon to make any accusations. Especially someone that kept a close relationship with R Kelly and P Diddy for decades. 2 28 1

As I always say, never assume these people are anything more than what you see on TV - whether it's Bey, Lana, etc lol Bey was 16 when she met Jay - and I would not be surprised if she had been forced to endure navigating a very complex world that no adolescent would survive in 1

I can't speak for the Hive, the last sentence of my post was specifically for the Hive to not rush to defend him as I seen on Twitter. 2 hours ago, Badgalbriel said: Funny. I'm not commenting on this bey/jay case but I just find it funny how you guys are treating this whole thing. Very different scenarios, also Taylor MAGA jokes have been a running thing on this forum since 2015. You are comparing a very serious criminal rape allegation to Taylor hugging & kiikiing with a MAGA supporter. If I did make a comment in that thread, it was just me trolling/baiting cause it's not serious. If it was a Travis Kelce allegation thread, I would've been consistent. My values are the same even if it was someone I disliked like Nicki Minaj. 32 minutes ago, Itz_Dani! said: Oh but the hive would be the first ones to jump on any other artists necks if it weren't jayZ or Bey facing this scandal. I can only speak for myself & I would not jump on anyone's neck. Obviously the Hive is doing the most, which is what my last sentence meant. We should not rush to innocence and not rush to guilty either without evidence. Saying it's "most likely true" is incredibly ridiculous. You don't know these people and nothing Jay-Z has said or done implied he would rape a 13 year old. I'm not saying he did it, but it would be incredibly shocking & unlike his character (as someone who actually has followed his career). 1

Lorelei Posted Tuesday at 05:58 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:58 PM This is heinous, not only because he will come out of it unscathed, like most of them do but also because Beyonce will be the main focus of a hate train instead of the actual perpetrator, if proven guilty.

19SLAYty9 Posted Tuesday at 06:40 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:40 PM (edited) He obviously did it. There's been rumors/ stories/ blinditems of him doing things like this since the 90s. There are rappers who were associated with jay who have said it. Theres jokes about it in other songs. There was a woman who had a son at 15 when jay was in his 30s who looks just like jay. Jay has been stalling that dna test for a decade im not saying Beyonce should be punished for it, but cmon, she obviously would know too Edited Tuesday at 06:43 PM by 19SLAYty9 10 2
