Now we are calling people bootlickers because we don't think they should be assassinated in broad daylight in NYC? :deadvision: Just more gun violence issues in America.

I promise you going up to bat for the CEO of a megacorp is NOT going to put you on any moral high ground, even if the "victim" was assassinated. That man is responsible for the deaths of thousands. Have you heard of the paradox of tolerance?

What we really need is for merch with Deny. Defend. Depose. On it and to start wearing it and making posters and stickers and slapping them on our cars. Keep up the sentiment and intimidation.

I was just thinking this. Hoping it starts a movement! :fan:

Actually. Just saw some of the merch, it's the uhc logo mixed with defend, deny, depose and it's cute. Still need those car decals though.

Yes. But enough with the decency politics and virtue signaling. That blood sucking tick killed thousands of people and had it coming.

If this spurs any sort of positive change in regulation or industry standard, I think we can all be pretty sure it'll get copycatted up and down across the most hated industries in the US

I'm not sure what banks are known for having a worse foreclosure rate than others, for instance, but the visible C-Suite members there are absolutely targets going forward :deadbanana4:

okay, but there are also board members of these companies who are even more comically evil than the CEOs... how can we deal with that?

I hope this spurs positive change but I seriously doubt it. It will be a few performative moves for a couple of weeks and then they will just get more brutal, while beefing up their security and fleet of bulletproof limousines of course. If the economic collapse of 2008 didn't prompt positive change (or frankly, all the school shootings), nothing will. If politicians were smart they would realize that acting upon this anger would be hugely beneficial for them but they are too complacent and too comfortably in CEOs pockets, I fear.

Suspect pictured after 'flirting' with receptionist

According to US media, police were able to find an image of the suspect without his face mask because he was flirting with the woman who checked him into the hostel.

The receptionist asked to see his smile, and the suspect obliged, pulling down his mask, which allowed a CCTV camera to capture his face, ABC reports, citing police sources.

As CNN's chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst John Miller puts it: "That little flirtation between the two of them, in some good-humoured way, actually yielded what is so far the most significant clue to identifying him."

flirty king :bird:
