Voting for S&S because the question says SECOND BIGGEST ERA and we know that Billie has the BIGGEST ERA of the year :clap3:

The best-selling album of the year maybe?

But the OP said biggest ERA (singles, album, tour and media) no "PURE ALBUM SALES IN THE US" :duck:

Brat isn't bigger than these?

Maybe on X and ATRL

There was a misinterpretation, I wasn't saying Brat is the biggest era, I was questioning why OP would think it was, but that was my error, I could've written it better.

HMHAS's daily streams 7 months out are unheard of for any album in the streaming era so far and is going to be outstreaming SNS daily soon so I guess numbers say Billie.

The two biggest albums/eras of the year :clap3:

For now: SNS

Within the next year: Probably HMHAS

As current things are SNS is bigger but WILDFLOWER might blow up after Christmas (or lose all it's momentum), Billie's tour will obviously end up as much bigger but on the other side it looks likely that Sabrina will reissue the album.

Not according to the Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon's year end numbers :suburban:

Girl… TTPD might have chart numbers, but as an era it did not have as much influence. Taylord's relevancy, which is the biggest for a single artist, didn't translate to the album as a cultural phenomenon, even Brat outdid TTPD in that regard, and this is obviously true for the two aforementioned records.

TTPD does not even have a proper / real hit song. Fortnight is forgotten.

The fumes over the biggest era of the year here. moo.png

2nd place is a tough race, and S&S has the upper hand & momentum for now, but I think things will be different in the new year.

Isn't Short and Sweet the biggest era this year?

HMHAS is the second biggest era of the year, and Sabrina's album is third.

This is a rational, well-put response. Sorry you got a kneejerk downvote from a pissed Swiftie who can't even bother to explain why you're wrong (bc you aren't lol)

OT: S&S is the biggest era of the year, and Billie's album is second.

Now you know all that #data is from that frontloaded first month. Ignoring Billie/Sabrine you can't seriously say it's bigger as a whole than even her own Midnights lbr

Fun fact, if you remove 6 months from TTPD other albums surpass it too! :suburban:

You can twist it and cry all you want, in the end, TTPD moved WAY more units WW. A hit single is cool but the point is to make people consume the entire album; it should be easier to move more units when you have a hit single in the streaming era and yeah, they didn't.

I won't talk about touring since it would be ridiculous.

Right?  Billie only has 10 songs, she is killing it. Sabrina has 3 hits. Both eras will more memorable than TTPD too.

I don't know, I'd say that including 31 songs in your album makes it easier to move units than having one hit.

PS: none of those 31 songs are charting on Spotify

I guess that's why Cowboy Carter and Pink Friday 2 are absolute streaming smashes right?

Please, focus on the topics you can handle and try not to make hating Taylor your whole personality.

HMHAS currently and in the long run.

TTPD is not the biggest "era" as evidenced by it having zero charting songs on the top 200 on Spotify, nothing on the Hot 100, only 1 song in the top 200 on AM...

Meanwhile HMHAS and S&S still have multiple top 50 songs on all of these metrics

Yes because comparing the album with two massive flops is valid. The question you should be asking is what would happen if Billie and Sabrina's albums had 31 tracks too.

Your argument was that the album is long, I chose two other long albums that aren't as successful and it's not valid? :dies:

Spoiler alert: it wouldn't change much and you could exclude The Anthology, TTPD would still dominate both :dies:

So you mean they have mega auto play smashes and still can't move more units, how do you explain it as a chart expert?
