Will Justin Bieber's next era be bigger then The Weeknd's?

Though certainly succesfull in the grand scheme of things, most people will agree that the Weeknd's current era is underperforming.

The world's biggest male pop star, Justin Bieber, released his last album over three years ago, so his return is just a matter of time.

Will JB's comeback be a massiv event or will he also underperform?

Good luck with that so called the world's biggest male pop star... :doc:

Does he even care about music at this point?

I actually think it could be if 1. his heart is in it, 2. the music is good or at least catchy and 3. Southeast Asia gets on board

It's not like he would have to do much.

by the weeknd current standard, few moderate hits two flops and one top 5, it's not far off JB power to perform in better shape tbh. the lowest that called yummy was top 2 SOLO and good stats overall after the single. we know atp lead will be top 10 minimum in any circumstance (pop r&b or country, lead or collab) and album launch wont be matter over longevity or post-album hit singles as long as lead and follow up did decent as eternal sunshine. the weeknd is album seller so HUT should outperform JB'album by default but justin will prevent on single department

Well The Weeknd is certainly underperforming so yeah Bieber has a great chance

But i dont think the GP or Bieber himself care that much about Bieber new songs.
If its catchy it will chart well and if its not it wont.

He really struggled to get a proper hit during the Changes & Justice eras.

Of course it all worked out in the end (Peaches & Ghost) but he was clearly overworked and it effected his health.

I don't think he has that kind of energy anymore so no

Ah Justin will at least have moderate hits

In another random off piste utterly pointless: comparison does a pine tree have more feelings than a bicycle?

I think he's done with the industry.

i hope he doesnt come back for a longggg time. he dont even look like he cares about music anymore and thats fine.

I feel like he's been away for too long. He didn't even do his usual features between eras to at the very least keep his name in the music scene. He'll always be popular sure, but I feel like his days as long running solo hits might be over. Plus he just became a father and he seemed checked out from music even before the pandemic,
