gab00 Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM I'm sure she'd accept to headline in a second if She was asked to.. Why hasnt she received the phone call? 1
$ebert Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM Omg I would actually love her to headline, she just needs one more hit to get into GP again and then, she'd be perfect for it. She has the hits and stage presence to perform on that stage 5 2
shyboi Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM (edited) she's in a very tricky situation, she's not too small but not big enough so she falls in this limbo that makes her hard to place and sell within the culture of the festival coachella invites random indie cult niche bands and artists too, so, unless she's willing to perform very early in smaller stages, i can't see her really getting the gig Edited yesterday at 01:07 AM by shyboi 3
Doctor Dick Posted yesterday at 01:05 AM Posted yesterday at 01:05 AM She's an icon but she's not relevant enough to have her name plastered as the biggest name and it also would be disrespectful to put her below the biggest names. It's a hard thing with her brand. Not relevant but also an icon. 5
Popular Post nostalgic Posted yesterday at 01:06 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 01:06 AM She's so skinny I'm afraid the crowd wouldn't be able to see her. It's better that she sticks with the smaller venues where she's closer to the audience. 2 26
vuelve88 Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM I could see her headlining a quinceañera 14
Sugar-Rush Posted yesterday at 01:23 AM Posted yesterday at 01:23 AM She can sell out theaters and arenas in Europe because her fans are dedicated, but I don't think there'd be enough demand for her at Coachella.
dumbsparce Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM (edited) She performed at a uni once and the students were scratching their heads asking each other who tf she was.. what makes you think she'd be suitable for a festival? Edited yesterday at 07:10 AM by dumbsparce 1 5 1 1
BGKC Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM (edited) People will go to Coachella regardless of what's really headlining. A few B listers, some C listers and the very possible A listers… it's about being there and doing drugs. Christina is iconic enough imo (and A List). Her singing a house remix of Beautiful to a crowd on psychedelics is soft work. Edited yesterday at 03:16 AM by BGKC 1
Devin Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM not too small. theres just no demand.
Ms Beadle Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Glastonbury has a legends slot, for acts who don't really have much draw as a headliner but enough hits that they'd still pull in a crowd - she'd be ideal for something like that
tonyle1911 Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM I think she can do a "Special Guest Star" like No Doubt last year. It fits them perfectly. I don't see her headlining the festival, but also she won't be the second billing as well.
Happylittlepunk Posted yesterday at 02:57 AM Posted yesterday at 02:57 AM Imo the best way for xtina to make a comeback in this day and age is for her to do a random edm collab with david guetta or Calvin Harris and maybe another collab with another artist. Do some collabs with Latin artist. Music that ain't attach to her new album but just give her more exposure. Keep performing at music festivals.

I could have swore that album was just a few years old. 1
unclefloprry Posted yesterday at 03:36 AM Posted yesterday at 03:36 AM Maybe as a special guest in a B stage at 6pm
SharGaga Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM (edited) She needs a new album first. I've done a deep dive in so many pop girls discographies but never really bothered with her for some reason. I tried Stripped but personally it wasn't my cup of tea. She has a lot of talent and edge tho. I don't understand why she's not releasing albums. The GP needs something more palatable than Liberation. Edited yesterday at 03:42 AM by SharGaga

It's like she never put real effort again after back to básics. 1
Colmillo Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM (edited) Idk why but I just can't picture her performing at Coachella, I feel like the people that listens to her isn't the same people that go there idk Edited yesterday at 04:25 AM by Colmillo

Jesus. i agree with you for the most part that she'd definitely benefit from more collaborative efforts, especially with Latin artists - but I don't think doing the washed up dance queen act will benefit her. 1

It's not "disrespectful" to be in smaller stages at big festivals, especially if it's a veteran that is way past their prime... that happens. But yeah knowing Xtine she wouldn't accept it and could see it as "beneath" her. But a stage is a stage.

Edm is still one of the most popular genres in radio and Spotify. So idk what exactly you're talking about.
popmusicisdead Posted yesterday at 05:27 AM Posted yesterday at 05:27 AM too small = too skinny. so yes
XDNA Posted yesterday at 06:03 AM Posted yesterday at 06:03 AM She could do it, she's a legend, but the other headliners would have to be more gen-z oriented. If her next English album is more commercial then she will for sure get it.
