a month ago i would never have expected Ari to even be in this conversation and Selena was bouncing between #5-6 on predictions but the Wicked oscar campaign has been in full force and Emilia's hype kinda dwindled to the point where ari is above selena now  idk what to expect anymore but i think Selena is out for sure at this point. it'll be Ari or neither

Are the experts delusional too? Ariana is currently sitting at #3 in the predictions and some are calling her close to a lock.

Selena has less than a 1% chance of getting nominated. It's not impossible, but highly unlikely.

 

Ariana has a solid shot, but it will depend on the narrative around her performance in the next few weeks. I'm 50-50 on her, based on the reviews.

I saw Emilia Perez over the weekend and judging by that and the Wicked trailer, neither of them deserve a nomination. Please lets be serious....

 

Emilia Perez is a great movie and I can see it going through a lot of nominations but if there is a 'Supporting actress' nomination that comes from it, it is Zoe Saldañas' at best even though she should be in the main Actress category imo...

 

Wicked looks fun but no, neither of the actresses will get a nomination. Just enjoy the box office smash and go home
