Idk how a country where the 1st amendment is freedom of speech which is particularly meant that we are free to criticize the government making a law that restricts from criticizing another country that United States citizens aren't even citizens of. I don't take the pledge of allegiance to the state of Israel (of the US) so why do I have to upholds its values and its people?

More Republicans voted NO :ahh: :ahh: :ahh:

AOC, Summer Lee, Bowman, and Pressley voting YES :ahh: :ahh: :ahh:

And progressives will still DARE to say they're on our side when they vote for garbage like this. AOC might as well vote yes on the Iron Dome from now on, because that present vote was performative dogshit that meant absolutely NOTHING :ahh: :ahh: :ahh:

Yvette Clarke and Hakeem Jeffries better count their days! And not for nothing, I think AOC got to office because of luck.

AOC voting "Yes"? The only 3 Dems voting "No" being the other members of the squad while 18 other "No"s are R? What is going on? :confused:

The irony here is, codifying Judaism with genocide is itself anti-Semitic.

What exactly do the establishment Dems have on AOC exactly? I don't understand. What could Nancy Pelosi have possibly done or said to her to make her give up her principles like this?

Racist, right-wing "centrists" on an online music forum claiming to know more than bodies like the ACLU.

She got yelled at for criticizing AICPAC so she's throwing a bone because she thinks she can make everyone happy but it ends up pissing everyone off :toofunny3:

She becomes the embodiment of centrist Democratic party that she used to hate

Israel is a genocidal war machine sponsored by the US.

Your ethnic and cultural identity has been hijacked as a shield from unspeakable crimes against humanity.

If you are willingly complicit in these crimes then I hope you burn in hell.

If you truly do not know and are a victim of growing up within the Zionist system then I feel sorry for you and pray that your soul is forgiven.

@Miss Show Business being a troll account whose entire intention on this site has always been to attack the sole Jewish candidate running for president in 2016 + 2020, erasing his Jewishness, and repeatedly accusing him again as a Jewish man as being "motivated by dark money," but addressing antisemitism to defend genocide.

To all the anti semitic trolls,

Where exactly does this bill mention Zionism?

[Congressional Bills 118th Congress]
[From the U.S. Government Publishing Office]
[H. Res. 1449 Introduced in House (IH)]

<DOC>

118th CONGRESS
  2d Session
H. RES. 1449

 Condemning the global rise of antisemitism and calling upon countries
           and international bodies to counter antisemitism.

_______________________________________________________________________

                    IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

                           September 16, 2024

  Ms. Manning (for herself and Mr. Smith of New Jersey) submitted the
 following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign
                                Affairs

_______________________________________________________________________

                               RESOLUTION

 Condemning the global rise of antisemitism and calling upon countries
           and international bodies to counter antisemitism.

Whereas antisemitism is a threat to the fundamental freedoms, rights, security,
        and diversity of all citizens, societies, and countries;
Whereas there has been an increase of antisemitic rhetoric and acts in many
        countries around the world;
Whereas, in the months since the October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack against
        Israel, Jewish communities around the world have experienced a
        significant increase in antisemitic threats;
Whereas, in the Berlin Declaration of April 29, 2004, participating states of
        the Organization for Security and co-operation in Europe condemned
        antisemitism and committed to take specific actions to combat it;
Whereas, in 2016, the 31 member states of the International Holocaust
        Remembrance Alliance adopted a legally nonbinding ``working definition''
        of antisemitism, an important internationally recognized tool to
        increase understanding of antisemitism;
Whereas, on May 25, 2023, the White House issued the United States National
        Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, making clear that the fight against
        antisemitism is a national, bipartisan priority that must be
        successfully conducted through a whole-of-government-and-society
        approach;
Whereas, on July 17, 2024, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the United States and
        partners unveiled the Global Guidelines for Countering Antisemitism;
Whereas the Global Guidelines constitute a multilateral framework encompassing
        12 areas of public policy, including: Jewish community protection, the
        need for leaders to speak out against antisemitism, uniform collection
        of data about antisemitism, and education of the Holocaust and Jewish
        heritage;
Whereas the Global Guidelines include policies to monitor and combat
        antisemitism that can be implemented and adapted to a wide variety of
        national, regional, and cultural contexts; and
Whereas more than 40 states and international bodies have endorsed the Global
        Guidelines for Countering Antisemitism: Now, therefore, be it
    Resolved, That the House of Representatives--
            (1) condemns the rise of antisemitism in countries around
        the world;
            (2) welcomes the Global Guidelines for Countering
        Antisemitism unveiled by the United States and partners in
        Buenos Aires, Argentina, on July 17, 2024;
            (3) calls upon states and international bodies to take
        action to counter antisemitism, including by endorsing and
        embracing the Global Guidelines for Countering Antisemitism;
        and
            (4) encourages greater action and international cooperation
        to counter antisemitism.
                                 <all>

The IHRA websites "working definition" of antisemitism:

Quote

Adopt the following non-legally binding working definition of antisemitism:

    "Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities."

They even go on to say:

Quote

However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic.

The furthest they go in defining antisemitism that even comes close to Zionism is comparing Israeli policy to the Holocaust/Nazis (which is Holocaust inversion)

Quote

• Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
• Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.

• Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
• Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

None of this says Israeli policy cannot be criticized. Just that comparing their policy to their own oppressors is indeed a form of Holocaust denial/inversion.

If y'all don't hate Jews, then none of you should have a problem with this.

They see the writing on the wall. Israel always wins, so they're capitulating because they have ambitions to ascend to the Senate. Especially AOC and Pressley.
