Radical Pessimism Posted Tuesday at 01:30 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:30 PM The decline is alarming! She's done!
shookspeare Posted Tuesday at 01:36 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:36 PM why is everyone bombing this year 1
Musicmajor Posted Tuesday at 01:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:41 PM Just goes to show, without a HIT to carry the album, it's futile. She also had an interesting rollout (IMO) and it still didn't do much to hold the interest of the GP. 1
Robyn. Posted Tuesday at 01:57 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:57 PM It's not a shock, she clearly relies on fan support nowadays, and they already did their thing during the album's first week. There's nothing she can't do without a hit, and public support in the streaming age.
Ivan_brit Posted Tuesday at 02:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:08 PM Ohhh that's sad, I kind of expect the era to flop after Lucky & Ego did not get the support I was expecting
Saud Posted Tuesday at 02:14 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:14 PM i love her and she's one of my favorite artists ever…but the album doesn't have replay value at all, and it's quite sad and personal. still proud that she put it out and made something beautiful after what she went through. there are couple of songs i really love but that's about it
Darlin. Posted Tuesday at 02:18 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:18 PM It's a shame. Her best album to date! 3 1
shimind Posted Tuesday at 02:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:34 PM If streaming farms really exist her label should have invested in one for a month. So I blame them.
UnusualBoy Posted Tuesday at 02:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:37 PM (edited) I mean, all the singles bombed, this isn't shocking so... Edited Tuesday at 02:42 PM by UnusualBoy
Rigalo Posted Tuesday at 02:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:43 PM No hit single = album not gonna chart that's why we have girls start/stopping, promo single, push back, label trouble, etc. We ***** about it all the time but realistically….
Raphy23 Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM At least it's stable The album is amazing, it's not meant for the charts.
AvadaKedavra Posted Tuesday at 03:16 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:16 PM Do you have a link i wanna compare all the chart runs of my faves and their studio albums and to research about their decline
Funnyfatty Posted Tuesday at 03:19 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:19 PM Do those people still believe in promoting a single before an album drop? I know there was a crazy amount of hype and big viral moments for this album but i have like NO idea how the album sounds. are they dumb? What is the lead single and where is the radio promo?
JoeAg Posted Tuesday at 03:21 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:21 PM the better her music gets, the worse it does commercially. figures tbh. great album, her best to date by far 2
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted Tuesday at 03:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:28 PM I know this doesn't have that much weight but, what was she thinking putting out Lucky as the first taste of the album
Lose My Breath Posted Tuesday at 03:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:34 PM The album is good, too, but it's heavy
stars Posted Tuesday at 03:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:34 PM These bombs Albums are struggling in this current music industry
keshasfillers Posted Tuesday at 03:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:41 PM her final impersonation was katy perry 5
zoldyck Posted Tuesday at 03:42 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:42 PM is this the shortest stay for an album that peaked at #2? Crazy to think it tumbles down 200 spots in 2 weeks.
dumbsparce Posted Tuesday at 03:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:43 PM The Power album, while good conceptually, had zero catchy hooks which is the #1 requirement for an "alt" pop girlie and Impersonator is no different. I'll always check out her new stuff though bc I always find a couple of songs I can enjoy when I'm in the mood. 1
jeffersonairplanes19 Posted Tuesday at 04:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:15 PM (edited) Well yeah most of the albums sales were physical from her small dedicated fanbase meaning that most of the people who wanna listen to it own it physically already so there's not much more sales to make to keep it on the charts.
