ChooseyLover Posted Tuesday at 12:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:13 PM Is there a chance she pulled a Paris Hilton for its first week sales? 90% of the sales or more were pure and after the first week it's been catastrophic. 1

No. Halsey just has a dedicated fan base, and she released so many bundles and digital and physical variants

Bloodflowers. Posted Tuesday at 12:29 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:29 PM Arsonist and Letter to God (1998) are her best songs of all time 3
ericcartman Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM Wow those early albums at 159? I didn't know she was that big. Those are good numbers

It's crazy cause Halsey didn't even do anything wrong afaik for people to have moved on from her like this. Her career trajectory is really interesting.

BabyBenzz Posted Tuesday at 12:58 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:58 PM it's sad to witness this tragedy, the album is truly so so so good but there has been no support from her label whatsoever.. 3 1
BlahBlahBlah Posted Tuesday at 01:06 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:06 PM I never knew her previous album lasted 7 weeks, that's crazy for how non-commercial it was plus sacrificing almost any promotion in exchange for the max movie.
Fancyhoodlum Posted Tuesday at 01:07 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:07 PM her type of voice was left in the 2010s. 2 2
Namiskine Posted Tuesday at 01:25 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:25 PM (edited) That X user who said her last impersonation was Katy Perry was right Edited Tuesday at 01:25 PM by Namiskine 5
ontherocks Posted Tuesday at 01:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:28 PM It does show how heavily she relied on airplay back in the day when Capitol put a good amount of money into promoting her. With streaming taking completly over and her last album bombing, she lost a lot of traction
