Reginald Posted Tuesday at 01:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:28 PM (edited) Her songwriting, performance, and vocal styles are all much different than those classic hits, now. She could go back to RedOne, but that doesn't mean it would be the same end-product (example: Angel Down) because she doesn't write those easy-listening pop songs anymore. ICLDXU4HS Posted Tuesday at 01:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:41 PM She's been terrible at picking the right producers since ARTPOP. She needs to get someone fresh, not RedOne. Just about anyone that worked on her remix album for Chromatica would have been more exciting than Cirkuit and whoever that other guy is that worked on Disease.
NeonTiger Posted Tuesday at 01:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:44 PM the producers are not the issue, it's her songwriting and her vocal delivery choices. 1
DemDam92 Posted Tuesday at 02:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:51 PM No she just needs to realize that nobody cares about her boring Jazz and musical music. 1

Shimenawa Posted Tuesday at 03:40 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:40 PM They made pop gold together but GaGa is older now so it wouldn't be the same and it will most likely flop. Also they made 7 songs together including the lead single Frankensteined for LG5 and she scrapped everything to make Joanne

JackOfHearts Posted Tuesday at 11:47 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:47 PM I wouldn't mind another track from RedOne, but I think their magic together is done. Anything further would likely be a rehash, and that's probably what happened with the first version of LG5 (and why she scrapped it). I do wish his work with Porcelain Black came to proper streaming services, but something definitely went sour there. Aside from that, I haven't heard anything from RedOne in ages. What's he done?
Digitalism Posted yesterday at 01:51 PM Posted yesterday at 01:51 PM I do feel like some of these girls need to take the Beyonce/kanye approach and work with multiple producers per album. Redone alone wouln't make any sense. But him helping with some tracks is not a bad idea. That being said it has been proven that just doing your original sound 15 years later won't cut it.
