DWAS is the LG7 lead single, here's why.

LG7 has a theme around death and loneliness as well as survival/healing through love and human connection. DWAS absolutely thematically belongs on the album and it was clearly always planned this way. 
 

It is extremely common for second singles, album droplets or double A-sides to be overshadowed at first by collab lead singles as you can see when we compare it to Beyoncé's recent successful era, Cowboy Carter.

 

LG7:
 

Lead single: Die With A Smile #2 (Feat Bruno)

Second single/album droplet/Double A-side: Disease #27 

 

Cowboy Carter:

 

Lead single: Texas Hold 'Em #1 (Feat. Lowell on the piano)

Second single/Double A-side: 16 Carriages #38

Gaga is a big diva, she never even released a song as single if she's not the main writer on that song.

yup I don't see it related to lg7 at all, unless she records a dwas acoustic solo version and slaps it on as a bonus track at most

OT: NO, Gaga specifically said "Disease" is LG7's first single; which means DWAS did not belong to LG7. Unless she gonna backtrack it in the future because of the floppage
