Her covers on her show can be like this, but I highly disagree with "it's all acrobatics with her".  She feels it.

Even when she did I Will Always Love You, she opted out of a lot of Whitney's vocalizations to not be compared, but still oozed emotion:

 

I love Kelly so much and obviously she's one of the few vocalists that could make justice singing this global solo smash hit

Kelly is one of the only people who could sing this other than Miss Gaga

I feel the same. I mean the highnotes were added just to show off. There'a no real emotions. She is a fantastic technical singer tho.
