After RO underperforming in comparison to Future Nostalgia but still did better than so many albums released this year , should miss dula release the deluxe like camila did or just move on ? Thoughts ? 

The album is really short so I wish she may release a few more songs just for fans, but IMO, she should move on to her next project.

I would say move on to DL4 but I have a feeling that is still at least a couple of years away so I'd say releasing RO deluxe is better than nothing in the meantime.

considering she just started the tour, just drop Whatcha Doing remix + some album leftovers as a deluxe in jan/feb to get some momentum back then start DL4 era as soon as early 2026

Here's the plan:

 

Whatcha Doing remix featuring a POPULAR recording artist. Extremely heavy push. I want that **** spammed EVERYWHERE.

 

Reissue RO with about six new songs. 3 songs like Houdini & Training Season, 3 Maria's/Happy For You's. Push 2 singles from that. Spread them out.

Considering she's embarking on the Radical Optimism tour for the entirety of 2025, I'm sure there will be a deluxe. And it should be released in early March before the real tour starts.

If she wants mainstream success in a massive way she should release the next 1st single of the first album like in January 2025

 

But she gives me that Rihanna vibe of I'm done with the music industry 

 

Which is fair, so she will probably start doing music she like and her next album will come until late 2026 or 2027

RO is dead. She should rather release stand alone singles. Attaching anything else to the album isn't going to do anything. Hopefully her team is reviewing this era and thinking about the things that went wrong (starting with calling this a psychedelic album…). She should also consider who she is going to work with moving on. Everyone expected a totally different album from the producers.

I think she is sticking to her original plan with this album 

2025 will be the deluxe and maybe some droplets

but I think the new album will come sooner than expected like in 2026

Dua doesn't have a big business nor is she in the position to abandon her music career like that.

She has until next summer to start a new era or it's curtains, I fear.

If she IS indeed rereleasing then she and her team are ******* morons for dropping Illusion in APRIL and the album in MAY followed by radio silence for 6 months

 

Wasting major promo oportunities, not doing any side release as a feature or even a quick lil dj collab. I understand she is touring but it's not an excuse when half the time she's been on vacation. And it's not like doing quick collabs is gonna take away a lot of time. Or remixing a song off the album and send it to radio.

 

And this isnt even taking into account how there hasnt been consistency between the album aesthetics and its videos let alone the tour and its performances  beach album and the tour is all black leather

Not true. She has said she always had atleast five albums in mind. 

DL4 in 2025 is perfect.

Only drop a rerelease if it's a true side B like a dark, moody, 'Radical Pessimism'….

And by "hopefully her team" you mean just her father, right?  We didn't realize how good we had it with Tap…

I guess it would be smarter to just move on, but considering the fact that she'll be touring this album all of next year, I think they should try with a deluxe. 

The tour just started so there's time for a Deluxe
