Explains what happened - sounds like incompetence.

Israel is dealing with their Putin, their Trump, their Orban in Netanyahu (perhaps worse because 10/7 feels like permission to him).

 

And like Putin, Netanyahu enjoys support from those falsely believing he has their interests. 

There's already rumors that Netanyahu may strategically end the war so that it appears a Trump win is a coalition opportunity for dictators. I'll believe it when I see it.

 

Israelis have to figure out how to change course in the same way that Americans, Russians, and Hungarians (to name a few) must do as well.

I've read some crazy stuff on Reddit about Israel believing the entire earth was their inheritance from God and this whole plan to "claim it back". Now I don't know if those theories are really that crazy

Israel has every right to defend itself from the impurities that threaten the Israeli people.  If God didn't want Israel to exterminate the people who don't have a place in their kingdom, then why wouldn't he stop them?

I expect France to treat this with sanctions at least, if not completely cutting diplomatic ties with Israel. Nazitenyahu already threatened Macron though and nothing happened.
