(October 30) Gracie Abrams new song "That's So True" is soaring up the charts since the release of the deluxe version of her album. Today the song gained over 130k streams again, placing her just below Rose and Tyler the Creator on the US Spotify chart. Do you think she will officially hit #1 after Tylers album bomb wears off? And why does the GP resonate so well with her music despite her being one of the most hated musicians right now? US Spotify Chart as of today: (1-13 Tyler the Creators Album Bomb) 14. ROSÉ, Bruno Mars - Apt. 1,675,463 (-83,860) 15. Gracie Abrams - That's So True 1,666,133 (+131,415) Bonus: "I Love You, I'm Sorry" is also smashing with 1,416,165 streams (combined with the live version) Edited November 6 by Helix 2 1 1

americanlife Posted October 30 Posted October 30 No I'm not surprised. The audience of Swifties knows talent and they know how to stimulate the music economy.
Kylizzle Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Why did Eras launch this lady instead of Bea whose music is 10x better 4
scottydog Posted October 30 Posted October 30 It'll be a while before Tyler drops below 2 Million, but there's a chance!
Kristie Kuwa Posted October 30 Posted October 30 The Taylor clone epidemic. We really need to get together and tackle that virus like we did Ms Corona. Permanent quarantine! 3
Mr. Duff Posted October 30 Posted October 30 God the hate she's being thrown here I'm happy for her, I really like the song (although Risk deserves it so much more!).Despite her being a nepo baby I think she still worked hard to get to where she is, we don't know what's behind the scenes and we cannot just assume that she's been given all of these opportunities to make it big. Granted I believe she really have an advantage, but that doesn't mean everything was handed to her, she still has to show up with talent and hard work, and I think she's killing it. UIt's so unfair to judge her just because she's the daughter of JJ Abrams. It's not her fault she already has connections. She can sing and has decent to good music. She may not be your cup of tea and her voice might not be suited for everybody but her talent is undeniable. And her album is really nice. She's like a baby Halsey-Taylor hybrid to me (vocally and musically) and I love all of these artists. 2
