Lady Gaga literally gave NOTHING to her fans for so many years. Who cares what she gives to her fans in 2024? Its not 2008 anymore. And the hype for a clown is born is LONG GONE. You can't act edgy and weird for so many years and then comeback and say "i released a pop song for you gays (because my husband told me so)" and expect it to smash   she lost EVETYTHING. The promo is there, the music is not it and the song is performing TERRIBLY. I'm happy tbh. She better shuts up the whole era and let someone else handle it. Since 2016 her career is a MESS.

It's no shade to Gaga, but the song really does suck. I know that a lot of people were rooting for her comeback, but the song is just kind of bland with how much it tries to do.

the dramatics. her career is fine even if this single is flopping. if she develops this sounds on the album i can see it getting some acclaim and if she decides to tour i'm sure she could easily snatch another 100M+ gross. not everything has to be a number 1 smash (although she also has that with DWAS so she won either way)

No chance. It would be completely overshadowed by christmas songs [and one more excuse for the wheel of excuses]. She will certainly do it in January.

 

She's probably reworking on the album as we speak.
