Megan's third studio album departs the Billboard 200 after 15 weeks on the chart. The album spawned the TikTok hit "Mamushi" and Billboard Global 200 #1 anthem "HISS". It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 selling 64.000 units first week.

It's so weird how much push she gets but that hasn't translated to sales and hits yet. Yes she had Savage, WAP and Hiss but they all featured someone bigger than her (even Hiss if you know what I mean).

 

I'd expect her to effortlessly do numbers at this stage in her career but it's like the more exposure she gets the less consumed her music becomes.

it was one of her worst albums, i only come back to like 2-3 songs

traumazine deserved better though 

for the next album (or act II but i doubt it) she needs to go back to the lighthearted, confident and fun fever/good news sound

isn't mamushi still charting on the hot 100 i thought that counted for something …. either way the whole chart is so annoying to read through since so many spots are taken by greatest hits and compilations

She gets pushed to a point where I believe people start getting turned off by her. There are always a lot of brand deals, always a feature, and it feels like she reaches a point of excessive content with every album cycle, which can get annoying—especially if the music doesn't show a certain level of artistic growth

Haters are right when they say the push behind her isn't translating into sales or streams. It's very odd.

 

With that said, Meg is definitely talented and has a few bops but most of her discog is a miss. I think she needs better music.

People have been waiting for Bey's downfall to the point where they're implicating her in numerous heinous crimes to associate her with predators, and she's the only pop girl in these conspiracies despite many more having ties.

 

Megan charting for 15 weeks is fine, she'll be back to charting again when Act II drops.

I would argue that savage and wap were her true last hit records. Hiss was #1 obviously but tumbled down the charts after 3 weeks

Well...exposure can't do anything for her if the music keeps getting worse. Each album she dropped was worse than the one before
