And a lot of these albums have been rated I think. Hmm. Heres a fix you may or may not like, but instead of ending after part 2, doing a Singles Rate between the 6 divas and call it a day. At least you get something from your original idea by using their singles. 1

Nahh my idea is to rate their whole discography not just the singles. it's kinda sucks that we can't use some album cuz they were already rated in the past, it's not like we are doing this every year lol If it were up to me, I would use Control and other albums, cuz someone who participated in the past won't come but new ppl who never participated will and the results will be 100% different from the "first" rate but yk I can't do nothing about this rule lol 2

I can't promise that I'll be able to do this one as I'm only familiar with 2.5 albums, and since the end of the year is approaching, I'd like to focus on the albums from 2024. Never heard Kylie's so this is gonna be new but I loved her debut so I have high hopes. Emotions is a classic album and so it will get love and I hope the other voters see that too. Like that's one of her very best imo. Celine finna eat too cause "water to the moon" alone>>>> like a virgin as an album isn't all that but it's singles will def get some solid scores and Janet… well I heard dream street is better than the debut so we here for it nonetheless. Dream Street: 2.38 Like A Virgin: 5.55 Whitney: 6.90 Enjoy Yourself: 4.95 Emotions: 5.60 Celine Dion: 5.84 The Whitney eatery oh wow! Comparing debut and sophomore albums. Janet Jackson (2.25) < Dream Street (2.38) Madonna (3.7) < Like A Virgin (5.55) Whitney Houston (5.4) < Whitney (6.90) Kylie (5.7) > Enjoy Yourself (4.95) Mariah Carey (5.36) < Emotions (5.60) Unison (4.4) < Celine Dion (5.84) Kylie's is the only one that really tanked this rate. It just.. wasn't that good of an album. Lacked the energy and fun of her debut. Janet barely getting a better score, and it was all because of the last three songs on the album really. I think I was nicer than necessary to Emotions, as outside of the title track, there was pretty few songs that I truly liked. But like I said, the songs weren't bad and Mariah's vocals are amazing on them but... the songs were pretty blase. Whitney, Madonna and Celine all increasing their score pretty heavily this time around, while Whitney being the clear frontrunner. What can I say, that album was rather delicious. 2
