Cruel Summer Posted October 21 Posted October 21 This pretty much confirms that Taylor's 2023 and 2024 will be the two biggest years any artist has had in modern American music history. We don't have exceptional reporting for older acts like the Beatles on a yearly basis, but this locks her in to once again have a bigger year than anyone else has ever had in the Soundscan era, and she'll once again likely have a bigger year than even Michael Jackson's peak year in raw units moved.
