CottageHore Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I liked the video a lot!! I like that there was no formal choreography actually. Choreography is overdone and throwing it in when it's not necessary just seems like a cop out. This video concept didn't call for a whole line of synchronized dancers. Her movements were still concerted and relevant to the theme. This song is a commercial flop but at least the visuals and music are good! 4

There was more work put into John Wayne than this. I mean, it's a good video, but for her standards, it falls flat, and I don't see it saving the song Music rollouts have changed drastically, comparing leads is mislead at best

Well, yeah, I see they had an idea for this, but it feels way too steady for me, and I'm yet to get the concept, it's just Gaga with different alter egos doing stuff in different places 1 1 2
manuelalex9810 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 The video is not bad but as another user said here the scenes were all over the place. Sometimes I felt that her "craziness" was too forced that it made me cringe. 3 12

Simple yet unnerving, campy, and surreal. Love the juxtaposition between sterile suburbia and a dark, grungy underbelly. #ThankYouGaga 8 1
Popular Post Bhabylon Posted October 30 Popular Post Posted October 30 We've come such a long way. I can't stop crying. We did it kids. 26 1
BNF91 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Oh this clears Stupid Love by a mile. And it's also better than Rain On Me. Only 911 can compare to Disease MV 3 1
ChrisGagers Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Okay so I watched it again and the video is growing on me. Its just very Halloween sometimes but I guess thats the point. I want elevated Darkness the rest of the era.

bruninho Posted October 30 Posted October 30 If anyone's interested (it's not in english though lol) 2
pablozedd Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Love the scene where shes chained, hanged up. Its very Aura live at SXSW coded, on which she is being roasted on a grill, one of my fav performances of hers. 1
Reverse Warholian Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Definitely getting Possession vibes from the video. This is clicking for me now. @starsailor @Infernal Paradise 2
Black Sunflower Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Love that she's ******* up Dope/ARTPOP Gaga, basically fighting her demons/drug abuse problems. I also love the Gagadook watching Gaga as she's stepping on herself in that room. It's so subtle and menacing. Love love love. 1

GraceRandolph Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Not that one user referencing Xtina and Madge videos from the 90s.

My issue with this video is that it's all over the place, it's a vomit of scenes slapped onto each other, with scenes constantly changing; and yet again, very formulaic and non-progressive. That being said, it's not a bad video.. It's well-directed but unfortunately the concept and the predictability, and GaGa's tackiness are all disease within a disease. This disease came in the form of a flop strain. Also, DiseaseGa, or GaGa in black, looks like a joke. The whole look is very halloween costume styled by party city. It's a cool Karen mom trying to impress the kids by a making a fool out of herself, and looking like a horny Becky at a cheap halloween party. Frozen and Fighter remain superior. Wow the video is bothering you this much huh? I hope Xtina or Madonna put out a decent video in the next ten years if they even have it in them so you can cope and your need to hate on other artists is no longer eating away at you anymore. 2
Bicassie Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) The way she grouped disease mv and DWAS live as a double feature release gives me LG7 inclusion vibes, interscope def gonna be tacking it on for stats atp Edited October 30 by Bicassie
Popular Post chiliam Posted October 30 Popular Post Posted October 30 woa the girl can act and thanks to that it worked for this weird video. Like imagine the other pop girls try to pull this off, it would be so cringe cause they cant act. The video made me switch on the song. She did that 13 2
BunnyIsARider Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I LOVED the video, easily my favorite video of hers since ****ing Judas in 2011 I also love that there's no choreo, almost every single one of her videos has one, we have enough of them. Overall this is a win and I'm very pleased. 2

It's not like having 500 album variants. 1
knewbetterpt2 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) Can we leave legends Xtina & Madonna out of this? Such odd behavior. Seeing Gaga be creatively reinvigorated and inspired is such a treat. This video is CINEMA! I can't wait to see how this story unfolds visually. Edited October 30 by knewbetterpt2 2
